We dig
our work.

Veteran-owned and serving Central Florida since 2001. We provide residential and commercial site development for builders and developers, from grading and underground utilities to paving and landscaping.

Commercial site work

We started in 2001 grading residential lots, added commercial work in 2007, and still do both. One contract covers the site from the first tree down to the striping, so there is one crew to schedule and one contact for the whole job.

  • Clearing & hauling
  • Erosion control
  • Grading & earthwork
  • Storm pipe & structures
  • Water & sewer
  • Lift stations
  • Paving & base
  • Curbing & sidewalks
  • Striping & signage
  • Construction staking
  • Geotechnical services
  • Segmental retaining walls & pavers
  • Athletic fields & artificial turf
  • Sod, landscape & irrigation

Walls and pavers

We build segmental retaining walls for grade changes on commercial and residential sites, from the footing and drainage stone to the geogrid and cap. On the finished side we install pavers and travertine for driveways, walkways and pool decks.

Ballfields and turf

We build athletic fields from the dirt up: clearing and grading the base, then installing artificial turf ready for play.

From raw lot to sod-ready

Residential grading is where the company started, and we still do it alongside our commercial work. A builder hands us a wooded lot and gets it back graded, drained and ready for sod. Every step below is our own crew and equipment.

  1. Land clearingTrees, stumps and brush taken down and hauled off.
  2. Lot scrapeTopsoil and organics stripped back to clean ground.
  3. Fill dirtMoved from on site or trucked in, depending on the lot.
  4. Pad gradeFill placed and compacted to the slab elevation.
  5. Stucco gradeSoil pulled back from the walls before the stucco crew arrives.
  6. Rough gradeThe lot shaped so water runs away from the house.
  7. Final gradeFinished elevations, raked and ready for sod.

How much fill?

Work out the fill for a building pad. Enter its size and how far it has to come up. The estimate adds 20% for compaction and assumes 18 cubic yards per truck. Send us the numbers and we will price it.

Keeping the dirt on site

Crew backfilling the base of a silt fence among Florida longleaf pines

Florida rain moves sand fast. We install and maintain silt fence, inlet protection and the rest of the erosion and sediment plan, and check that it holds up between rains.

  • Silt fencing
  • Erosion control
  • Wetlands protection
  • Hydroseeding

Hydroseeding gets grass on large disturbed areas quicker than seeding by hand and for far less than sod.
